CREATING AN ATMOSPHERE IN THE LIVING ROOM

Of all the rooms in the house, the room that is supposed to be relaxing is the hardest part to find a suiting color scheme. It has the most difficulty to create a color scheme that is relaxing and at the same time energizing. It is the hardest to create an atmosphere. This is mainly because of the variety of activities that are taking place in this area, the practical functions and the divergence of family tastes. The family should first agree on the use of this space, whether this space is mainly for formal entertaining of guests or this would this be a casual room for them to lounge in everyday. Selecting the furniture pieces is very crucial too. The atmosphere of the room is also created by the neighboring rooms, depending on the partitions and sizes.  To create a lively fresh atmosphere for daytime use one that can become cozy and intimate at night depends mainly on the lighting and the furnishings used. This will enable you to compromise and to change the interior to suit the occasion. Curtains and blinds can be employed in a similar way to add warmth to a cool color scheme. Large cushions can accent areas with bright colors and a more somber tone when reversed. Color, if emphasized in wood, fabrics, and fittings, is more  usefully employed and flexible to suit the mood of a party, a relaxed  conversation between friends or any other mood dictated by the moment.
