FAUCETS (for bathrooms)

What are faucets for? Why all the fuss about faucets? Do we really need to complicate things when it comes to faucets? I came across this article from Depot that is simply enlightening.

Faucets or mixers usually provide the hot and cold supply of water but what’s sophisticated about it are the latest designs. The way your faucets look could attract or distract people, in homes today more faucets are personalized. Homeowners can now choose from a large variety of faucets, different designs for your aesthetic needs comes easily. Before you settle for the perfect look for your faucet, there are some things you must first take note of, the taps.

The tap is like the switch where you turn on and off the supply of water that comes out, it’s the control lever. There are two kinds of faucet, the singular tap and the dual tap. Some say it is easier to repair a faucet with two taps because of the separate components, but for me, for convenience I prefer the single tap because it is compact, for example you are washing your hands with soap, it would be hard to grip when your turning the water on especially those experiencing carpal tunnel. Compared with the dual tap, the singular tap is easier to turn on and is usually advisable if there are elders in the house that has decreased reflexes or young children who are learning to be dependent.

Singular taps by Grohe, the high level bathroom fitting is considered to be the BMW of faucets for its water efficient Thermo Reflexor technology.
