In the Pacific Northwest, there’s no shortage of homes with amazing views. Views are considered by many buyers to be highly desirable and often increase the value of a property.
Whether you are selling or looking for a view home, NWMLS brokers have the ability to list and search for a variety of views, from mountains to sound, city to golf course and everything in between.
Where to find the most homes with views and what you can expect to spend?
Cities with the Most View Houses Sold in 2023
NWMLS listing data shows that Seattle topped the list of cities to find a view home last year, with 2,350 view properties sold throughout 2023. Tacoma came in second place with 402 view homes sold, and Bremerton came in third with 312. While Tacoma and Bremerton had less inventory of view homes, the median sales price for a view home was also significantly lower.
And views do indeed influence prices! When comparing the price difference between homes with views and those without, the median sales price for houses with views was significantly higher.
Cities with the Most View Condos Sold in 2023
NWMLS listing data also showed that Seattle was tops when it came to view condos sold in 2023, with 1,280 units. If you are looking for a view condo on the Eastside, you can expect higher prices and far less inventory overall. Only 136 view condos were sold in Bellevue, 115 in Kirkland, and a mere 80 in Issaquah.
